Matte brass Our knobs and handles in matte brass are made of solid brass with an unfinished surface. The handle has a raw surface, directly from the molding process. The surface does not get treated, in order for it to be patinated with time.

Polished untreated brass Polished untreated brass means that the surface is able to oxidize in order to receive a living surface that darkens over time. It is difficult to see the difference in the polished brass and the polished and untreated brass, the difference is first visible after using it and with time, the handle in polished and untreated brass, will patinate.
